I ordered this prebiotic FOS powder to support my gut health as described in the book: The Plant Paradox by Steven Gundry, M.D. Because it is chicory root based it is an excellent source of gut support. I use it every day in my smoothie and it has been very helpful in adding both fiber and increasing the prebiotic environment in my gut.
